Daniele Matuzeviciute is a contemporary freelance illustrator and surreal artist. Originally from Lithuania currently based in Northampton, who is presently studying at the University of Northampton. Daniele’s work generally reflects her attraction for texture and mark making, typically using traditional and digital elements within her illustrations. Her practice explores the interconnection between surrealism and mood often inspired by nature, landscapes and out of this world concepts. She has an interest in creating atmospheres and evoking feelings from imagery.

“A world through the eyes of bees” is a collection of illustrations immersing in a make-believe world, exploring a Utopian and Dystopian version of the same world that is set through the eyes of bees. Creating an immersive and surreal experience for all science-fiction or fantasy enthusiasts.
