I am an illustrator and pet portrait artist, with a keen interest for narrative illustration. I've always loved having animals as a main theme in my work as I love being able to bring out the subject’s personality within. Each piece I create is an experiment and despite pencil being a main medium of mine, I do not limit myself to them nor to a certain style or concept. I am persistent individual when it comes to my work ,with my work; give me a tree and I will draw it 30 times until I am happy with it.

Final Major Project: Where do Lost Things Go?
“Where do lost things go?” is an interactive and soon to be standard children’s book with a target audience of three- years to five-years old, as well as those with sensory needs.
“Lost Things” was written for the authors youngest son in 2013.
“He has an autistic spectrum condition and is extremely forgetful and loses things all the time. It can be a shoe, a coat, a tv remote, a book, pens galore, a dvd and so much more. When I hear him call “daaaaaad help” I know something’s disappeared. When he does lose something, it’s the only thing he can focus on, and it’s as if all life has to stop until the lost thing is found. After he lost his glasses one day, I started saying “wouldn’t it be nice to find where all the lost things go”... and that’s how the poem started - Simon Allen
