I am a character based illustrator, sculptural artist and animator. My interests revolve around character and humour, things such as ugly deep sea creatures is one of the biggest interests that plays into my illustrations and sculptural work. The themes that I typically go back to are grotesque human/animal hybrids, I can create a sense of the uncanny this way and distort my illustrations in such a way that they become unrecognisable as one thing and become an entirely new creature creating a humorous and disturbing character with a contradictory colour palette  that adds a playfulness to my illustrations.

Project: Moobs Comic
Moobs is a comic I created in my second year at university, the inspiration for the project came from the fish people in the novel Dagon by H.P Lovecraft. I illustrated the characters using fun and vibrant colours creating a unique version of the story.
Project: Making a Star
These illustrations were a part of an editorial piece inspired by the article ‘Making A Star’ I took inspiration from the idealisation of celebrities and the way the media portray fame versus the reality of what fame does using 2D, 3D and digital skills to illustrate my ideas.
Final Major Project
Final Major Project
I wanted to create a stop motion animation with my character designs and original concepts to create a humorous short animation. I have always been interested in circus and oddities therefore, I wanted to have the premise of my story as an uprising of the ‘Freaks’.
